Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic maths teacher to work within our excellent client high school based in Salford. This is a full-time teaching position set to start after October half-term 2025.

About the role:

  • Salary in line with the Teacher Pay Scale (M1-UPS3)
  • Start from October half-term.
  • Work closely with a dedicated Maths department committed to raising attainment. 
  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status.
  • ECT’s encouraged to apply.

Teacher responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver enriching lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and set challenging targets that motivate learners to succeed.
  • Manage classroom behaviour through the use of effective strategies.
  • Engage in the full planning and marking cycle.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
