Job description

Are you a confident maths teacher seeking a new role? A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Bolton is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths specialist to join their team from November 2025 (after the October half term).

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, following the national curriculum.

  • Inspire, challenge, and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their potential.

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that foster a love for Mathematics.

  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including departmental meetings and enrichment activities.

The School:
This is a supportive, forward-thinking secondary school with a strong focus on student achievement and staff development. The Maths department is well-resourced and collaborative, with experienced colleagues ready to share ideas and strategies.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

  • Has recent experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 & KS4).

  • Can demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.

  • Is committed to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

  • Brings enthusiasm, energy, and a positive approach to teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
