Job description

Teacher of Mathematics – Shape Futures with Every Lesson
Daventry | Permanent | Full-Time | September 2025 Start

Are you a teacher who can make maths meaningful? Do you believe every student deserves to be numerate, confident, and curious about the world around them?

We are looking for a Teacher of Mathematics to join a school that’s rapidly building a reputation for ambition, innovation, and inclusive excellence. Situated in the heart of Daventry, our school is part of a high-performing trust that is investing in people, technology, and teaching to bring about real transformation in education.

This is not just another teaching job — it’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger.

Accessible via public transport and equipped with a large onsite car park for all staff, this school can be easily reached from surrounding areas such as Northampton, Coventry and Milton Keynes.

Why Join Us?

A Culture That Lifts Everyone
We don’t just talk about values — we live them. Students are challenged and supported in equal measure, and staff are respected as professionals with purpose. The school is built on the principles of belief, behaviour, and brilliance, and these are more than slogans — they’re the heartbeat of everyday life here.

High Challenge, High Support
You’ll be joining a maths team committed to excellence, where collaboration and curriculum design are central to our approach. Schemes of learning are well-resourced, thoughtfully sequenced, and built around mastery and long-term memory — but there’s space for creativity and innovation too.

Behaviour That Supports Learning
Thanks to a clear, consistent behaviour culture, teachers can teach and students can learn. Disruption is low, expectations are high, and leadership is visible and supportive.

Career Progression That’s Real
Whether you’re just starting your teaching career or looking to step up into leadership, you’ll have access to trust-wide training, subject networks, and leadership programmes that accelerate professional growth.

Facilities That Inspire
With modern classrooms, growing investment in digital tools, and a STEM agenda at the forefront, you’ll be teaching in an environment designed for success.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher of mathematics (QTS or equivalent)

  • A reflective practitioner who believes every student can achieve in maths with the right guidance and challenge

  • Someone who thrives in a team, enjoys professional learning, and embraces high standards

  • A teacher who can bring energy, consistency, and passion to the classroom every day

This is more than a teaching job — it’s a chance to be part of a school community that is on a clear upward journey. One that values people, purpose, and progress.
