Full-time, long-term position

Are you a Teacher of History seeking a long-term position this June? Are you local to Preston, or willing to travel for the right opportunity?

We are looking for a Teacher who is:

  • Passionate about their subject and able to deliver excellent lessons that are exciting, engaging and inclusive
  • Able to motivate and inspire students to raise achievement across all ability ranges
  • An enthusiastic, positive professional with strong interpersonal and teamworking skills

An ambitious Teacher of the highest quality has a great opportunity to join the school's very successful Humanities Department. The school is seeking to hire a colleague who can inspire and motivate students and who is determined to pursue further professional development.

The successful History Teacher will

  • Be able to work efficiently and constructively as part of a school team.
  • Possess good classroom management and behavior management abilities.
  • Be available for a full-time role beginning 29th January 2024.
  • Have prior GCSE-level teaching experience in History.
  • Be able to maintain a secure, encouraging work atmosphere for the kids, assisting them in giving their best effort.
  • As part of the job, you'll be needed to prepare and grade classes, therefore you should be comfortable with this up to the GCSE level.
