Teacher of English – Farnborough – January 2026 Start

Full-Time | Secondary | Long-Term Position

Are you an enthusiastic Teacher of English looking for an exciting new opportunity starting January 2026? Teaching Personnel are working with a supportive secondary school in Farnborough seeking a skilled English specialist to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

This role is perfect for both experienced English teachers and confident subject specialists. If you are passionate about inspiring students, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting learners across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, we would love to hear from you.


The Role:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, creative English lessons across KS3–KS4

  • Prepare, assess, and provide feedback on student work in line with curriculum expectations

  • Support students of all abilities to reach their full potential

  • Contribute to a collaborative, forward-thinking English department

  • Maintain excellent behaviour management and safeguarding standards


What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Teacher of English or confident English subject specialist

  • Strong understanding of the KS3–KS4 English curriculum

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to student progress

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
