Engineering or Resistant Materials teacher required in the new academic year, Good secondary school.

Are you a qualified Design Technology teacher looking for work in the new academic year? Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a 'Good' secondary school to aid their recruitment for a vacancy in the new academic year. Our partner school is situated in South Oxfordshire in the heart of the commuter belt and benefits from excellent road and rail links. Due to a retirement within their staff team, they have a temporary position ideally starting in September which requires an Engineering teacher on a full time basis. If there are any specialist teachers in Resistant Materials, the school can adapt the timetable around this subject instead. Any Design Technology teachers who are willing to consider Engineering will be welcome to apply .

  • Engineering or Design Technology teacher, full time position in the new academic year
  • GCSE & BTEC Engineering groups
  • Good secondary school in Oxfordshire, connecting via A34
  • Temporary post in the first instance, could become permanent for successful applicants
  • Pay to reflect your teaching experience/scale point
  • Supportive department

Situated in Oxfordshire and connecting to the surrounding areas via the A34, this is a large and popular, secondary school serving a multi-cultural catchment area. During their last Ofsted inspection, the school was graded as Good and is continually improving results and pupil outcomes. The position is temporary initially and requires an Engineering teacher ideally or Resistant Materials. The department boasts excellent facilities and an extremely supportive subject leader, whether you are an experienced DT teacher or an NQT looking for your first position, this school will offer you an excellent platform to develop your teaching practice and weekly, ongoing training and CPD.

For all Design Technology & Engineering teachers interested, please apply now for consideration and submit a CV via the "apply now" link in this advert, or call Jessica in the Teaching Personnel Thames Valley Secondary branch for further information about this opportunity.
