Teacher of Boys PE - Winchester -September 2019

Due to an upcoming gap within our partner school's PE department, Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Teacher of Boys PE. This is an excellent opportunity for a Teacher of Boys PE to join a reputable school in a progressive role. The position is due to start from September 2019 and will be for a minimum of two terms in the first instance:

  • Full time teaching position of Boys PE to KS3/4
  • Required to start from September 2019
  • The school welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced PE Teachers
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience

Our partner school is going from strength to strength under new Leadership. In the most recent Ofsted report, the Senior Leadership team were praised for their clear direction and ambition to continually raise standards. The teaching staff are well respected by the pupils and there is a positive learning atmosphere throughout.

The incoming Teacher of Boys PE will be fully supported by an experienced and close knit team. The school offer the BTEC PE course at KS4 and is a very popular option due to the rich history of sporting tradition both within the school.

The school is regularly over subscribed and currently caters for just over 950 pupils. The vast majority of pupils who attend the school are from White British backgrounds. There are an average amount of pupils who have Special Educational Needs and those who are considered disadvantaged.

It is located on the outskirts of Winchester town centre making it easily accessible from the surrounding areas.
