We’re currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable individuals to join schools across Greater Norwich as Unqualified Teaching Assistants. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll help pupils grow in confidence, develop key skills, and get the most out of their education.

The Role
As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and school staff to support pupils with a wide range of academic, social, and behavioural needs. Your input will play an essential part in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting pupils with classroom activities and day-to-day learning
- Assisting with literacy and numeracy development
- Promoting positive behaviour through consistency and clear expectations
- Helping to create a safe, structured, and welcoming classroom environment
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing

Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need formal qualifications—we’re more interested in your mindset, reliability, and willingness to learn.
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Calm, confident, and dependable
- Positive role models for young people
- Flexible and able to adapt to different school settings
- Strong communicators who work well in a team
Experience in education, care, sports coaching, youth work, or similar roles is helpful, but not essential. What matters most is your enthusiasm for supporting young people.

Essential Requirement
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required, as travel between schools may be needed at short notice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
