GCSE Tutor – SK17, Stockport

Location: SK17, Stockport
Hours: Monday to Friday | School Hours
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced tutor or qualified teacher with a passion for helping students achieve their GCSEs? We are seeking a dedicated GCSE Tutor to support students in the SK17 Stockport area.

The Role

You will provide high-quality, personalised tuition to students preparing for their GCSE examinations, helping them build confidence, improve their understanding, and reach their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging one-to-one or small group GCSE tuition.
  • Plan lessons tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style.
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals.
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies where required.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and motivating learning environment.

Requirements

  • Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students.
  • Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, or Science (or another GCSE subject).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.
