Are you an experienced and passionate GCSE Tutor with SEN experience looking for a rewarding opportunity in Stockport?

We are looking for a dedicated tutor to provide 1:1 GCSE tuition to a student with SEN, supporting their academic progress, confidence, and exam preparation.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 GCSE tuition.

• Support the student in developing their subject knowledge and exam techniques.

• Adapt lessons to meet the student's individual learning and SEN needs.

• Build confidence and encourage positive engagement with learning.

• Use appropriate strategies to support the student's individual needs.

• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Work collaboratively with the school and wider support team.

Requirements

• Previous experience teaching or tutoring students at GCSE level.

• Previous SEN experience is essential.

• Strong subject knowledge and relevant teaching/tutoring experience.

• Excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.

• QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications are desirable.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

• Right to work in the UK.
