Maths & English Tutor – Ilkeston (DE7)

Are you passionate about helping students build confidence in Maths and English? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths & English Tutor to support learners in the Ilkeston (DE7) area.

The Role

As a Maths & English Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging Maths and English sessions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Support students to improve their confidence and academic progress.
  • Adapt lessons to suit different learning abilities and styles.
  • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress.

✅ Requirements

  • Experience teaching or tutoring Maths and/or English.
  • A good understanding of the UK curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, reliable, and passionate about education.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
