Teacher of Autism - Skelmersdale

Our client primary school in Skelmersdale are seeking a Teacher with experience in Autism.

The role is to start in 2 weeks time, covering an operation for a period of 6 weeks. The Deputy has advised that for the right person, there could be a long-term or permanent opportunity. The role is an excellent opportunity to guarantee you work as we approach the Christmas period, and work beyond, into the new year!

You must have experience in ASC to be considered and will ideally have worked in a SEN School, although this isn't essential.

Your role will involve:

- Supporting pupils with autism and related disabilities

- Working within a small class using specialised support plans to help pupils meet their individual needs and achieve their full potential

- Designing, planning and delivering teaching sessions to encourage pupils learning and progression as well as improve their social and emotional development
