Job description

Teaching Personnel are working alongside an alternative provision in York, who are looking for a Teacher with experience with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH).
The provision caters for pupils who are unable to access mainstream education, due to, but not restricted to, a diagnosis of Social, Emotional & Mental Health difficulties (SEMH). Experience working with children who have similar needs and present challenging behaviours would be advantageous, however additional support and training can be given (such as Team Teach).

The role is due to start after the Easter 2019 break and is initially for a term. For the ideal candidate, there could be an opportunity to gain a permanent contract at the School.
