Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 (Based on experience) Plus valuable Benefits
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a respected alternative education provider, is looking for a committed and adaptable Teacher to join their team in High Wycombe. About the Role:
As a Teacher within an alternative provision setting, you will deliver tailored learning experiences to students on a one-to-one or small group basis, in a variety of settings such as the community, homes, or outreach centres. You will be instrumental in supporting students who may have social, emotional, mental health needs (SEMH), SEND, or a history of disrupted education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver creative, engaging lessons across a range of subjects, adapted to individual learner needs

• Support re-engagement with education and promote a positive learning environment

• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multi-agency professionals to support learner outcomes

• Regularly assess, track, and report on progress and well-being

• Provide consistent encouragement, structure, and emotional support to students

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification is preferred; strong candidates with relevant experience will also be considered

• Previous experience working with vulnerable learners, SEND, or in alternative provision settings

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Patient, empathetic, and resilient with a flexible teaching approach

• A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel between sites may be required)
