Job Opportunity: Year 1 Teacher

Location: Great Harwood

Position: Full-Time Year 1 Teacher

Contract Duration: To start September 2024, for 1 term.

Salary: £140 - £180 per day

 

Are you a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in East Lancashire? We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Year 1 Teacher to join our dynamic team for a full-time position starting after Easter and running through to the end of the academic year, with the potential for continued employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons for Year 1 students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to both students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the school curriculum.
  • Foster a love of learning and curiosity within the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Year 1 or within the early years.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality education to students.

Contract Details:

This position is a full-time role, commencing after Easter and running until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will be paid a competitive daily rate ranging from £140 to £180, with weekly payments through the agency.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
