Teacher

SEN school for pupils aged 3-19 with autism based in Bournemouth. The school benefits from small class sizes and a highly personalised approach to learning. I am seeking to appoint a class teacher, from September 2020 to join their expanding team. The class consists of 8 pupils from KS3 and the needs are complex. Behaviour can on occasions be challenging but to combat this the class is supported by 4 full time TAs and there are clear strategies in place for each of the children. Due to this complexity and challenge the school are seeking to appoint an experienced practitioner who has at least 2 years recent experience teaching in a similar environment in the UK delivering to children with the same needs and challenges.

Experience teaching pupils with ASD is vital. The school are happy for applications from those with recent experience in a UK SEN environment including Overseas Trained Teachers (OTTs).
