Do you have experience working with SEN and Learning Difficulties?

Are you looking to use your skills and experience in a school environment?

Teaching Personnel are working with several Special Education Needs Schools in the Greater Brighton area that are currently looking for staff to start as soon as possible. The schools cater for pupils of which will have an Education Health Care Plan. The pupils at the school have a variety needs such as:

  • Autism (ASC/ASD)
  • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD)
  • ADHD
  • Behavioural Difficulties

The majority of the current vacancies are for full time long term temporary or permanent positions supporting pupils in small groups or 1:1. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with similar needs or be passionate about working in this type of school. Candidates that are suited for this type of school tend to have experience in some of the following:

  • Youth/Community work experience
  • Personal experience looking after someone with SEN
  • SEN experience
  • Residential support/care worker
  • Psychology

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
