Support Worker

We do and we are passionate about providing excellent care and support to young people with Autism and associated difficulties such as learning difficulties, sensory impairments and speech and language difficulties.

As a support worker you will be supporting young people between the ages of 7-19 with their day to day lives, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. You may get involved in exciting activities outside of the home too.

Our ideal support worker will:

• Be reliable, friendly and caring to help our residents achieve their everyday goals (including personal care)
• Be attentive and inspire our residents to achieve more!
• Be resilient and help manage some behaviours that challenge

It is beneficial for support workers to have a good understanding of Autism but this is not essential as full training will be provided.

This is a full time, permanent position with the option to work day shifts or night shifts. We may be able to consider candidates with part time availability so please still get in contact if this is more suited to you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
