  • Assess and document progress, providing feedback where appropriate.
  • Encourage positive attitudes towards learning and greater independence.
  • Adapt teaching approaches for pupils with additional educational and behavioural needs.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, schools and other professionals.
  • Follow safeguarding policies and ensure a safe, supportive learning environment.

Subjects and Teaching Opportunities

We welcome applications from tutors with expertise in:

To be considered, candidates should have:

  • At least two years of teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
  • Experience working with primary or secondary-aged pupils.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and planning skills.
  • A patient and adaptable approach to different learning requirements.
  • The ability to travel to assignments across Kettering and nearby areas.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

QTS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.

SEND Experience We Value

We are particularly interested in tutors who have supported pupils with:
