Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an independent OFSTED registered inclusion school that caters for Key Stage 3 & 4 students who have a diagnosis for social, emotion and mental health and who are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education.

The school is based in Dewsbury and is easily accessible from motorway transport links and public transports. We are looking to appoint a Support Worker to support the learning, emotional development and welfare of young people, including those with Social, emotional and mental health difficulties on a full time, long term basis. You will be providing practical support for learning, educational activities, developing social skills and integration. In return you will be supported by a team of professionals who are committed to providing inclusive education to all.

As a Support Worker you will be working with students with Special Educational and Behavioural Needs and mental health, to maximise achievement by overcoming behavioural, physical, social, emotional and/or mental health.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
