Job Description
We are currently seeking Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work at our partnership schools across Cambridgeshire (Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots, Cambridge & Peterborough). This exciting opportunity offers flexibility, with both day-to-day and long-term roles available, including potential temp-to-perm positions within primary schools.
We have full-time and part-time positions available starting September.

About the Role
As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include:

Assisting the class teacher with a range of stimulating activities for children within a class and/or small groups.

Preparing classrooms for lessons by setting up and packing away resources and equipment as needed.

Supervising pupils during break and lunch times to ensure a safe, positive play environment.

Supporting children’s learning through play by observing, interacting, and engaging alongside them.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will need:
-
Adaptability and willingness to work in both day-to-day supply and long-term roles.
-
A genuine passion for supporting, inspiring, and motivating young learners.
-
Either: previous experience working with children (school-based or other settings), or a willingness to learn and develop through guidance and training opportunities.

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (additional hours will be compensated)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
