Support Assistants needed ASAP in Chorley!

Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience suppoting pupils with SEN? Specifically Autism?

If so, Teaching Personnel have the job for you!

We work closely with a number of Schools in the Lancashire area who provide support and education for pupils with SEN, often including but not limited to pupils with Autism. The Schools are often smaller than mainstream schools and have a higher ratio of staff to pupils, therefore, candidates must be available to work on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils who may display challenging behaviours or pupils who have additional needs.

The candidates must have experience supporting pupils with SEN, ideally an understanding or experience of working with pupils on the Autism spectrum would be ideal.

The roles tend to start on an ad-hoc basis with the view to becoming long term or permanent. The Schools will also expect you to provide one voluntary day in School so they can ascertain your suitability for the role.
