Support Assistants required for students with complex needs

About the role:

Teaching Personnel are looking for Support Assistants to join provisions for children with complex needs, ranging from ASC, MLD, PMLD, physical disabilities and communication and interaction difficulties. The roles will be based around the Doncaster area and are a great way to build your experience in SEN settings and aid your career development. Those who thrive in these roles are passionate and engaging individuals who are enthusiastic about helping their students. You will be required to support students in and around the classroom, easing their anxiety and helping to engage them in learning. You will make students as comfortable as possible and find exciting ways to communicate with young learners, sometimes you will be required to support with personal care.

About the candidate:

Previous experience in supporting others is ideal, but doesn't have to be in an educational setting; those with a background in care really enjoy this line of work. The ideal candidate will be flexible and eager to get stuck in to exciting roles. Additional training is always great to have, such as Team Teach and Moving and Handling. These can be gained through Teaching Personnel as we run termly courses!
