Supply Teaching Assistants needed in Cardiff & The Vale

Teaching Personnel are actively looking to recruit experienced and passionate Supply Teaching Assistants to work within Primary schools in Cardiff and The Vale. Short term supply work is ideal for teaching assistants who are looking for flexibility within their working week and enjoy experiencing different areas, schools, year groups and classes, and also for teaching assistants who are looking to grow in their career and experience different environments and gain experience before settling in a permanent role. You will be contacted on a weekly and/or daily basis (at your preference) to check on your availability for the upcoming week and which days you will be available to work. We also organise pre-books for schools (for example maternity/paternity cover, short term sickness, course cover, etc.) in which you will know about the booking in advance and will be able to organise your diary ahead.

You must be a well organised, efficient and reflective practitioner with high expectations of child development, learning and behaviour. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of CACHE Level 3 or an Education related Degree. You must speak English fluently and have ideally worked in an educational or childcare setting previously (including nannying, au-pair, tutoring etc.)

What else?

- You must be in possession of an up-to-date CHILD WORKFORCE DBS (registered on the Update Service) or willing to apply for one (full assistance provided).

- We are only able to accept applications from UK residents with a proven right to work in the UK. You must living in Cardiff or The Vale and/or have plans to move to Cardiff or The Vale in the near future and/or be willing to travel to the Cardiff or The Vale area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
