SUPPLY TEACHER – Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole.
This flexible role offers the opportunity to cover a variety of subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4, with occasional opportunities to support KS5. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and managing behaviour in line with each school’s policy.
Whether you're an ECT, a qualified teacher, or a graduate looking to gain classroom experience, this is a great opportunity to develop your teaching practice while supporting local schools.
ABOUT THE ROLE:

Opportunities across a range of secondary schools in the BCP and wider Dorset area

Covering KS3 and KS4 pupils (ages 11–16); occasional KS5 support

Ideal for individuals who are flexible, proactive, and confident in the classroom

Work available on a full-time or part-time basis

A perfect route into teaching for graduates considering a PGCE or teacher training

All lesson plans will be provided – your focus is to engage students and keep them on task

You will need to manage classroom behaviour and follow the school’s policies

Contract Type: Temporary, Flexible

Full-time/Part-time: Both available

Pay: From £130.00 per day (based on experience and responsibilities)
REQUIREMENTS:
-
ECT or QTS preferred – graduates with relevant experience also welcome
-
Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children or young people in a school setting
-
Passionate about supporting students and contributing to a positive learning environment
-
Confident, adaptable, and reliable

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)

Two recent child-related professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
