Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a number of Supply Teachers for South Liverpool based Secondary Schools.

Every day is different for a supply teacher. Most of the work is pre-booked however you may be required to be on standby for some morning bookings between 7 and 9am.

Working as a supply teacher provides you with complete flexibility, letting you select you the days you work; perfect for individuals that can’t commit to a full time position due to personal engagements.

Supply teaching provides all the same engaging, exciting experiences of a full time position without the added responsibility, there’s no marking, no curriculum creation and no lesson planning meaning the days will generally run from 8.30am – 3pm. There is temp to perm opportunities available if desired.

It provides you with an amazing opportunity to further your classroom experience, building relationships with a number of different schools and students in the Manchester area, each day providing a new set of challenges and experiences. The pay range is between GBP100 - GBP120 per day depending on experience, paid weekly.

The ideal candidate:

  • Will be experienced in Supply across KS3/KS4 and hold a QTS. NQT’s should also apply.
  • Will be flexible for day to day and long term supply work.
  • Will be a positive and confident individual and be able to demonstrate strong behaviour management skills.

Any successful applicant would be subject to DBS and Right to work UK checks so relevant documents will be requested.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
