Guaranteed Supply work

Interested in joining the close-knit team of the forward-thinking Astrea MAT?

Teaching Personnel is working in a sole partnership agreement with The Astrea Academy Trust (AAT), which will be going from strength to strength next academic year as we continue to work together.

The AAT is a unique multi-academy trust (MAT), encompassing 5 schools in Cambridgeshire with a forward-thinking leadership team who are looking to provide unique and collaborative solutions towards supply cover in their schools.

We are looking for teachers who are looking for regular supply work from now onwards, to build up a cohort of teachers to regularly provide cover at the schools (both emergency sickness and planned absence). You will not be considered as just 'a supply teacher', you will be a valuable member of the Astrea staffing team and will be fully supported into Astrea life with access to a range of benefits through the trust. You will be registered and employed via Teaching Personnel and will receive access to the following benefits:

  • Guaranteed Work Schemes (GWS) via Teaching Personnel
  • Astrea Induction Events
  • FREE Access to Astrea's CPD
  • Fair Pay Rates
  • Flexibility
  • Continuity
  • Referral Bonus - GBP50 reward every time you recommend a colleague to work with us
  • Opportunity - for long-term roles or permanent positions at the school further down the line if your work preferences change!

Because the majority of these Astrea Schools are Secondary, the school requires qualified and experienced secondary teachers to provide subject specialist cover, although if there is cover required outside of your subject specialism you will be required to cover other subjects with passion, flexibility and dedication to the best of your ability. Astrea's detailed induction and support programs will help ensure that you are comfortable in the school and provided with all the tools you need to enjoy regular, supportive supply cover!

We welcome applications from experienced Secondary School Teachers with any subject specialism who are available anywhere from 2-5 days per week for regular cover and are happy to travel to any of the schools in Cambridgeshire.

To apply for a position to join Teaching Personnel's supply cohort for 2020 please get in touch ASAP and via the application links provided!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
