Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a day-to-day Supply Teacher to work across our network of client schools in the Tameside area. Throughout this role, you will be required to work across different areas of Tameside, including Ashton Under Lyne, Stalybridge, and Hyde. This role will be based in Secondary Schools.
You will earn a salary up to £150 per day dependent on your previous experience and responsibilities throughout the school day.
Throughout this role, you will work on a flexible basis, managing your own availability. You will be offered work up to five days a week however you can accept work to accommodate to your commitments. You will have the opportunity to work across a range of school in your local area, and you can begin to disclose your preferences, meaning that you will be prioritised for your preferred schools.
For this role, it is essential that you are a fully qualified teacher, whether you are an ECT or an experienced teacher, seeking improved flexibility.
Key responsibilities:
- You will be required to ensure that the behaviour of the class is effectively managed to minimise any disruption caused by the absence of their regular teacher.
- You will have no planning or marking responsibilities for this role, you will be provided with pre-planned lessons.
- It is essential that you are able to deliver a high standard of pre-planned lessons, based across multiple subjects.
- If there is any subject specific cover available in your own specialism, it is highly likely that you will be prioritised for this work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
