About the Role:
Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed and passionate Supply Teacher to join our team and support secondary schools across Stalybridge. Starting in January 2024, this is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for flexible work, offering both full-time and part-time positions on an ad-hoc basis.
As a Supply Teacher, you will be stepping in to cover a range of subjects and year groups across local secondary schools. Whether you’re available for full days, half days, or occasional cover, this role allows you to work flexibly while making a real difference in students' education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver planned lessons across a variety of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, and Humanities
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment
- Ensure students are engaged and maintain continuity in their education
- Follow the school’s teaching plans and adapt where necessary to meet the needs of students
- Provide feedback to schools on student progress and classroom activities
- Work with students of varying abilities and adapt teaching methods accordingly
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teaching methods
- A passion for education and helping students succeed
- Enhanced DBS check (Teaching Personnel can assist with this if needed)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
