Supply Teacher - Scarborough
Are you a qualified Teacher looking for an exciting new role with a better work / life balance?
Registering with Teaching Personnel can help you find exactly what you’re looking for!
Since the Schools have re-opened, we have seen an increase in demand for both daily absence cover and long-term supply Teachers, specifically for catch-up tuition and to work within SEN Schools.
Who can be a Supply Teacher?
It is essential that you hold UK QTS and have a level of experience, or at least knowledge, of Special Educational Needs.
You will demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills and a flexible attitude.
Ideally you will be available 3 – 5 days per week with access to your own transport and be happy to travel up to 30 minutes.
Being a supply Teacher…
The majority of the work will be booked in advance but there may be occasions where you will be called between 7am and 9am for work on the same day.
Most schools will provide the planning for the day but you will need to have a bank of resources to hand, suitable for all year groups – just in case. Working across various schools you will follow each schools policies, mark the children’s work and provide handover notes for when the class teacher returns.
Who is Teaching Personnel?
Teaching Personnel is the UK’s leading education recruitment agency. We currently work with over 5000 schools across England and Wales, providing day to day supply as well as long term cover and permanent staff.
Whether you are looking for the flexibility afforded by short term work to fit around your other commitments, longer term guaranteed work, or your next perfect permanent role, registering with us means you can find exactly what you are looking for!
How does it work?
The first step is a telephone conversation with one of our skilled consultants to discuss the process of clearing you for work and the types of work we have available in your area. If this seems like the type or role for you, we will then proceed to clear you for work.
To apply to work with Teaching Personnel as a Supply Teacher in Scarborough, please call Kerry Fowler on 01482 908020 or email an up to date CV via the application link. Alternatively, you can apply online by visiting www.teachingpersonnel.com
