Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a highly motivated, capable and innovative Cover Supervisor to work for one of our schools in the Crediton area. We are looking for a dynamic, flexible individual who can carry out general teaching duties and deliver high quality lessons.

As a Cover Supervisor you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity within the classroom. You will have good experience working with groups of children, preferably in a school setting. The ideal applicant will have the confidence to supervise a class, oversee the completion of preset work and manage the behaviour of others.

The school we are working with are looking to hire both permanent and part time teachers, this could be the perfect opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience or if you are looking for just a few days a week.

Responsibilities –

  • Implement pre planned lessons effectively
  • Support students in their learning by providing constant assistance and feedback
  • Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policy
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
  • Be flexible and adaptable to work different subject areas and different age groups

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
