Supply Teacher

Location: Bedfordshire (MK40 - MK45 and SG15 - SG19)

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time around your availability 

Primary Industry: Secondary Schools and Academies

Salary: £120-£150 (for Qualified Teachers) - Flexible depending on experience, travel, and qualifications

Job Duties:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues encountered
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or at least 2 years experience teaching in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance (we can assist with this application)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Confident and Friendly
  • Subject specialist knowledge in at least 1 subject

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling
  • Working in different schools and classrooms as needed
  • Potential travel within the Bedfordshire area
