Supply SEN Teaching Assistants

We are seeking to recruit Teaching Assistants who are able to cover at local primary schools and work with special educational needs and challenging behaviour.

We are exceptionally busy at present, and expect this to stay the same for the remainder of the academic year. We need several additional teaching assistants to keep up with the demand and ideally need these candidates to be available 5 days per week. You will be offered a selection of bookings each week, most being full weeks within one school. We have a variety of roles ranging from EYFS up to Year 6 and need candidates who are confident in supporting challenging children or children with additional needs. We would expect that most candidates will re-visit the same school each week on a rolling basis or will be offered long-term contracts.

Suitable applicants will have:

• At least 1 year of experience supporting SEN and or challenging behaviour in either a school or care setting
• Confident in managing challenging behaviour
• Flexible and happy to work with different teams
• Transport allowing them to work within schools that are in a 5-10 mile radius
• Available from 8:30am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, term time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
