Subject Specialist Teacher – Chesterfield

Salary: £140 - £240 per day
Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit Subject Specialist Teachers across a range of subjects including English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, IT, and PSHE in secondary schools across Chesterfield. About the Role
As a Subject Specialist Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in your subject area across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience welcome).
- Use assessment effectively to monitor pupil progress and support learners of all abilities.
- Create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and achievement.
- Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and school initiatives.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and academic progress.
About You
We are looking for teachers who:
- Hold QTS or QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).
- Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Can deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Are committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- Are proactive, reflective, and enthusiastic about contributing to departmental and school success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
