Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant with a Sports Coach background to work with children with learning and behaviour difficulties. The role of a Teaching Assistant can be challenging, but highly rewarding. You would be required to work one to one with a child and assist them through the day during their lessons and during other parts of their day. The role is to start in September 2020 and will be Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm and term time only.
The ideal candidate:
- Will enjoy sports, and have experience in coaching or a degree in Sports/Physical Education.
- May have classroom based work experience.
- May have experience in managing difficult behaviour.
- Be enthusiastic and pro active in and out of the classroom.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of GBP40, plus an annual subscription fee of GBP13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
