Sports Graduates Wanted as a behaviour mentor!

Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a teaching assistant for September - The role is within one of their units attached to the school. The school have received funding for a pupil coming in September.


The school caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) as well as other difficulties including ADHD and Autism. This specialist provisions is looking for enthusiastic team players who enjoy a challenge. Having experience in supporting children who display challenging behaviour or have a variety of SEN is not essential but beneficial to fully flourish within this role.


A behaviour unit are looking for a passionate, determined an adaptable Teaching Assistant, with experience or an interest in working with students with behavioural needs in a sports environment.


So, for those applicants who have yet to work outside of mainstream education, this unique opportunity presents a chance to develop skills specific to teaching those with special educational needs. We have an established relationship with this school. The school has a real focus on providing discipline, structure and an alternative approach to education whilst supporting the young people through their GCSE's. When speaking with the Deputy Head he has stated how important it is that the right personality within this provision. Sports graduates have seem to get on very well within this unit but it doesn't mean that is the only background that works.


In return Teaching Personnel strive to work around you and your availability whether you want long term or short term work. We can find you placements that suit you. Our ultimate goal is to find you long term, full time work within specialist provisions.


Team Teach training is advantageous for this role. However, we are shortly running a Team Teach course.
