  • Sports Coach / Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Full Time Position Monday to Friday
  • Based in Lincoln

The Role

As a recent Sports Graduate or qualified Sports Coach, you will be working as a Teaching Assistant within the Key Stage 3 & 4 unit of an alternative provision, based in Lincoln. This is a Full Time position supporting vulnerable students who are unable to, or have been excluded from mainstream education. As well as supporting within lessons and helping to engage students, there is the opportunity to lead PE lessons and help students achieve their potential. Whether you have direct experience in Schools or not, this could be a suitable position if you are looking to begin a career in Education.

The School

The School is a an Ofsted graded Good, welcoming provision in Lincoln, that has an inclusive approach to teaching and learning. As an alternative provision, they look at every child's individual needs and put in place the relevant support. With some students displaying challenging behaviour, ADHD and SEMH, it is essential that you follow the School's positive reinforcement behaviour policy and work alongside other Education professionals such as Social Workers, CAMHS and the School's Senior Leadership Team.

About Teaching Personnel

As the UK's Market Leaders in Education Recruitment, you will be employed through Teaching Personnel, with the opportunity of gaining a permanent contract through the School. You will be paid on a weekly basis through our own PAYE payroll and will be on a minimum rate of £9.50 per hour. As well as having a dedicated Consultant who will support you through placement, you will gain exclusive access to our online and in house CPD courses. This will offer you the chance to build upon your current skill set and gain nationally recognised qualifications such as Safeguarding Level 2, Team Teach, Moving & Handling, SEN Diploma Level 2-4, Child Psychology and many more!
