Sports Graduate - Required Immediately

  • Good graded Secondary school based in Wigan
  • Sports Graduate required immediately for a Full-time PE Teaching position
  • Opportunity to earn between £1100-£1250 a month
  • Must hold a Physical Education Degree and have a keen interest in working with students aged 11-16

If you are a Sports Graduate and looking to gain further experience within a supportive secondary school as a PE Teaching Assistant then please see further details of this exciting position below;

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a Good graded secondary school assisting them in the recruitment of a Sports Graduate that will be able to provide support to the schools Physical Education department, assisting with the general operation of PE lessons.

The school wish to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual who will have the confidence to lead classes and warm-up activities with the support of the class teacher. The role will require you to be extremely organised as you will have sole responsibility of the organisation all of the schools PE equipment, setting up of each lesson as specified by the class teacher and clearing and organising the equipment at the end of each lesson.

Coaching experience or working alongside young people who are aged 11-16 will be of extremely benefit in support of an application for this role as you will be required to lead sports sessions, following a plan that the class teacher has set for you.

Our Client School;

  • Currently caters for around 650 pupils, making it small when compared to other schools in the area.
  • Has a high intake of students that come from a white British background.
  • Is situated between Orrell and the Wigan town centre making it easily accessible via car or public transport from the surrounding areas; Skelmersdale, Chorley, Standish & Ashton-in-Makerfield.
