Are you a SPORTS COACH or SPORTS GRADUATE looking for a new challenge…

Have you thought about working with young adults encouraging learning with sports?

We have a rewarding opportunity for sport specialists to work as learning support assistants at an outstanding college in Hillingdon. The college offers life-changing learning opportunities to young adults with a range of needs where sports are used regularly. With this college being part of a renowned academy trust with 7 colleges across London and Surrey this is a highly sought after role with real career prospects.

A job at this college is both a fulfilling and engaging experience working with young adults from 19-25 years olds with a range of needs including behavioural needs, autism, mental health and complex needs. Due to the needs of the students, they look for sport specialist staff to work closely with young adults that display challenging behaviour. Sports are a great tool used within the college to both manage behaviour, promote positive interactions, relationships and opportunities.

Experience working with autism, challenging behaviour, mental health, learning difficulties or physical disabilities is highly beneficial but not ideal. The college are open to pro-active sports trained staff that are able to build positive relationships, be a team player and can treat students as adults with the ability to contribute in education and within the community.

Roles are to start in September 2019 for an academic year with opportunities to become a permanent staff member so you do not want to miss THIS opportunity!
