Sports Coach

Job description

Do you have experience coaching sports to young people? Maybe you have supported young people in a different capacity and are interested in a career in education?

Teaching Personnel are proud to work exclusively with the Astrea Multi Academy Trust and are in search of a number of sports coaches to work in a school in Barnsley to meet the growing demands of the trust. This is the busiest time of year for supply and we can offer flexible work on a full or part time basis to suit you.

We are looking for:

  • Sports graduates/coaches who have good behaviour management and classroom control
  • Someone who is able to improve student wellbeing, confidence and concentration
  • People who are available both full and part time- there are flexible opportunities for both!

Previous experience in a secondary school or as a Sports Coach would be beneficial, however we would welcome applications from anybody who has supported young people in a similar capacity or anyone who is considering a career in education and would like to build up further experience in a secondary school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
