An ‘Good’ SEN School in the Gainsborough area is seeking a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to join their Primary School for an ASAP start.
You will be working alongside other Speech and Language specialists in the school, providing young children additional support with their Speech, Language and Communication needs. The school does have the ability to train based on their own methods and help to upskill an already talented Teaching Assistant. The role will begin on a temporary contract, with a good possibility of it becoming a permanent role.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Speech & Language Teaching Assistant
- Supporting children with Autism and Speech & Language difficulties – 1:1 & group
- EYFS, KS1 and KS2 – This will could change daily, so you must be flexible
- Working alongside the Schools Speech & Language Therapist and SENCO
- Increasing the quality of learning
- ASAP start – Long-term – Full Time
- GBP55 - GBP65 per day
- Located in Gainsborough
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- You must be an aspiring Speech & Language Therapist or show a general passion towards supporting Autism (ASC)
- Strong understanding of SEN is going to be key
- You must be willing to get stuck in and go above and beyond for all pupils
- The School are looking for someone who is bright and very ambitious
