Teaching Personnel is currently looking for confident and qualified teachers with SEN experience to work in a special needs school in Twickenham on a full time or ad-hoc basis.
Children in our special need school based in Richmond (London) have autism, speech and language, severe learning difficulties and/or social emotional mental health needs. Having experience with EHCPs and ILPs is essential as pupils will have learning plans tailored to their learning, health and social needs.
Additional experience with PECS, TEACCH, Sensory Approaches, Makaton, Team Teach is highly beneficial but not essential.
Location: Twickenham, South West London
Role: SEN Teacher
Ages: 4-19 years old
Duration: 18th January 2021 till July 2021 at a minimum
Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm daily
Pay rate: GBP125 - 160 per day (paid on a weekly basis – negotiable dependant on experience and references)
Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent with recent experience in teaching in the UK
- Experience with autism, severe learning difficulties and/or speech and language
- Good knowledge of the National curriculum and EHCPs
- The ability to work collaboratively
- Good time management and organisational skills to fully utilise the learning day
- Based in London and able to commit to traveling to Twickenham daily
