SEN English Techer
Our Liverpool SEN Branch is currently working exclusively with an outstanding provision in Merseyside and we are looking for experienced SEN English Teachers to join our growing team for the re opening of Schools. The position is to work with children who have various learning difficulties and are working through specialised curriculum.
The successful SEN English Teacher will:
- Have Confidence within their knowledge of the English Curriculum
- Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
- Demonstrate commitment to professional development and pupils’ learning and development
- Have good organisational skills with high expectations of achievement and behaviour
- Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
- Good classroom management skills
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Effectively challenge pupils to achieve, using a range of engaging methods
About the role
- Classroom support - activities, organisation, engagement
- 1:1 support with occupational therapies
- Behaviour management
- Supporting emotional wellbeing
- Social and communication assistance
- Supervisory duties
- Record/log keeping and completing student diaries
- Working hours are 8 – 3pm
- Earn around GBP1200+ per month
