Sixth Form Teaching Assistant

At Teaching Personnel, we are looking for a Teaching Assistant for one of our sixth form colleges in the South Manchester area.

This role will be focused on you assisting students aged 16-18 on a 1:1 basis. Experience of being a teaching assistant will be required for this role or strong experience that gives you transferable skills.

Requirements:

• You must be confident assisting students on a 1:1 basis.
• Your ability to build professional relationships with the SLT of the college will be key to your success in this role.
• Having excellent Literacy and Mathematic skills are essential to this role.
• You must be located in the Central Manchester area or be willing to travel to this area frequently.

Key Information:

• The students you’re assisting will be 16 – 18.
• Pay for this role will be starting at £12.90 an hour and will increase with experience.
• This will be a full-time role with you working Monday to Friday.
• This role will be starting in September at the beginning of the next academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
