SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)
Location: Bracknell

Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN allowance
We are a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bracknell seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join our leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional to lead and manage the provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring that every pupil is given the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
About the Role:

Leading the strategic development of the school’s SEND provision.
-
Coordinating support for pupils with SEND and working closely with staff, parents, external agencies and governors.
-
Supporting and advising teachers to deliver high-quality inclusive teaching.
-
Overseeing EHCP processes, reviews and statutory requirements.
-
Monitoring and evaluating the impact of interventions and support programmes.
-
Playing an active role in the wider leadership of the school.
About You:
We are looking for a SENCO who:
-
Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (or is willing to work towards it).
-
Has proven experience supporting children with a range of SEND needs.
-
Demonstrates strong leadership and organisational skills.
-
Works effectively with staff, parents and external professionals.
-
Is passionate about inclusive education and committed to improving outcomes for all pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
