Deputy Headteacher (Maternity Cover)

We are a thriving and welcoming primary school in Bracknell seeking a highly motivated and experienced Interim Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team for a maternity cover period.

This is an exciting opportunity for an established school leader to contribute to the strategic direction of the school, while supporting staff, pupils and the wider community.

About the Role:

• Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to drive school improvement.

• Leading on key areas of school development and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

• Supporting staff in delivering an inclusive and inspiring curriculum.

• Overseeing pastoral care and safeguarding responsibilities as required.

• Playing a key role in the day-to-day running of the school and representing the Headteacher when necessary.

About You:

We are looking for a leader who is:

• An experienced senior leader (must have previous SLT experience).

• Passionate about ensuring the highest outcomes for all pupils.

• Skilled at motivating and supporting staff at all levels.

• Able to demonstrate strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• Committed to upholding the school’s values and building positive relationships with children, staff, parents and governors.
