SEND Support Mentor – Full Time | Dorchester | September 2026 Start
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate SEND Support Mentors to work within SEN schools across Dorchester from September 2026.
This is a rewarding full-time opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs in a nurturing educational environment.
The Role:
- Supporting students with a range of SEND needs
- Assisting teachers in the classroom
- Promoting engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Helping create a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Patient, adaptable, and caring nature
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Available full time from September 2026

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
