Teaching Personnel are currently working with schools across greater Manchester area who can provide support to children and young people with a range of additional needs to help improve pupils abilities academically, socially and mentally.
We are looking for confident candidates who would be able to work with young people 1:1 and in small groups to:
- Improve confidence and work to break down emotional barriers to learning
- Build great rapport and connect with individuals to work towards reaching their highest potential in the classroom
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to use strategies to de-escalate a situation before it reaches crisis point (Team Teach training would be beneficial)
- Have experience working with children or young people with ADHD, ASD, SEBD or SEMH is crucial
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one - If you require a new DBS we will guide you through the application process
- Be patient and confident in dealing with challenging behaviours
- Be able to work on your own initiative and be able to think on your feet
- Have a genuine passion to improve the lives of young people
- Have an innovative and creative approach to teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
