Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with our client school for an open vacancy within their leadership team, but would also consider a temporary measure for the remainder of this academic term.
- Opportunity to secure fixed term position working within secondary school in Oldham
- Payment in line with your previous experience
Our client school is a well established mixed comprehensive in Oldham, which is well regarded in the local community with the school previously designated as centre of excellence. The school is heavily oversubscribed across all years with over 1200 students enrol from the local area of the school. The school has on-site parking for drivers, along with a local Metrolink station for those who are coming from surrounding areas such as Rochdale, Tameside and Manchester. The school are well known for providing career progression opportunities for new starters along with providing regular professional development.
Responsibilities;
- Proactively planning, supporting and intervening to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning and the wellbeing of all staff and students in relation to the SEN and inclusion department. To ensure that the School Offer is up to date.
- To ensure that the team of staff in the department enables all students to achieve at the highest possible level.
- To be responsible for the leadership, management, performance and development of the department along with support from SLT.
