Are you passionate about education and making a difference? TPTUTORS is growing, and we’re looking for skilled and compassionate tutors to support learners across a variety of subjects and needs. We partner with Local Authorities and schools to deliver impactful, one-to-one tuition that transforms lives.
About the Role
As a TPTUTORS tutor, you'll provide tailored academic support on a flexible, part-time basis—typically between 10–15 hours per week, though opportunities start from as little as 1 hour per week. You’ll work with students from diverse backgrounds, many with Special Educational Needs (SEN), across subjects including English, Maths, Science, Business Studies, Languages, and more.
Tutoring sessions take place either:

In-person – at the student’s home or a nearby public venue

Online – depending on the family’s preference and needs
What You’ll Do
-
Deliver bespoke, one-on-one lessons based on each learner’s individual goals

Create and implement engaging lesson plans that encourage progress and confidence

Track and report on student development using our secure online platform
-
Communicate effectively with families and our consultancy team to ensure seamless support
-
Adapt your teaching methods to meet the evolving needs of each student
What We’re Looking For
-
A degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
-
A minimum of 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience
-
Strong familiarity with the UK curriculum and assessment standards
-
A creative, flexible approach to teaching
-
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
Working with TPTUTORS
-
Flexible, part-time opportunities starting from just 1 hour per week
-
Temporary placements, often continuing until the student secures a school place
-
Session scheduling coordinated directly with families for mutual convenience
-
Ongoing assignments may last across multiple academic years

Full 10-year career history and references from the last 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
